1 philosophy
Forty hectares of Pacific-slope jungle, riverfront lowlands, and coastal forest — one hour inland from the surf breaks of Nosara. The land has been in regenerative cultivation since 2018. Cacao, coffee, plantain, and citrus grow under canopy shade. Trails cut through secondary forest where howler monkeys move through the morning mist.
Every structure on the finca is built with local materials — teak, bamboo, river stone — on raised platforms that let the jungle breathe underneath. No foundations poured into the water table. No artificial light after 9pm. The grid stops at the gate.
"The land tells you what it wants to grow. We just listen."
— founding principle, 2018
Daily farm-to-table meals prepared in the open-air kitchen. Ingredients picked that morning — cacao nibs, fresh plantains, wild greens, river fish, eggs from the finca's free-range flock. Cooking classes available.
We grow, ferment, roast, and ship single-origin cacao and coffee worldwide. Heirloom cacao varieties — Nacional, Trinitario — shade-grown and hand-processed. Coffee from the finca's own microlot. Direct trade, zero intermediaries.
Open-air shala built into the hillside, overlooking the canopy to the Pacific. Daily vinyasa and yin sessions. Weekly cacao ceremonies at sunrise. Private sessions and teacher trainings available.
Nosara's world-class point breaks are an hour from the finca. Guided surf trips with local instructors — boards, transport, and post-surf lunch included. Beginner to intermediate. The afternoon wind means glassy mornings.
Guided forest meditation walks, breathwork sessions at the river, and silent sunrise sits on the ridge. The finca maintains a dedicated meditation platform suspended between two guapinol trees.
Two-hour guided ATV tours through the finca's trail network — river crossings, ridge lookouts, cacao groves, and a stop at the waterfall pool. Helmets and instruction provided. Half-day and sunset tours available.
